This was the second time I had the chance to work with Valerie Hopf, this time on her semi-autobiographic movie Take the long way home.

After having worked on her last project Betrunken, Léonie Bertram and I teamed up again, with her in the lead-composer role, while I was focusing on the sound design, the final mixing and some additional music.

The film follows Julie through a traumatic event and the following years, her ways to handle that trauma and her hopes for the future.
